Business Fundamentals for General Practice

Bespoke Business Training Course for GPs in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough

Cambs LMC in collaboration with Beds and Herts LMC, and with funding from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub, is pleased to offer a bespoke Business Fundamentals Training Course to local GPs who are new to partnership in the past three years, or to those who are on an evidenced route to partnership.

Designed and delivered by business healthcare specialists alongside experienced GPs, the programme will provide 36 hours of CPD and will prepare delegates for the commercial, legal, and financial aspects of running a General Practice in the 21st Century.

Starting in March 2023, the course will cover 8 modules over a period of six months, predominantly delivered online, with a view to face-to-face sessions in line with Covid safety requirements as the course progresses.

Whist there will be no exam or formal assessment, candidates will be expected to complete pre-course reading and participate in reflective practice and course evaluation.

Expressions of interest by 22nd February
