Aim
To bring together NHS colleagues to share learning, evidence and practical approaches to Violence Prevention and Reduction (VPR), strengthening leadership accountability, collaboration and the consistent application of effective, trauma-informed approaches across the NHS.
Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Understand NHS England’s national VPR priorities, including policy expectations and leadership responsibilities.
- Learn from regional, ICS and organisational examples of effective VPR practice and implementation.
- Explore applied trauma-informed and public-health approaches to preventing and reducing violence.
- Increase awareness of national VPR resources, guidance and enablers, including partnership working with key stakeholders.
- Strengthen peer networks and build sustainable communities of practice that enable ongoing collaboration, shared learning and consistent improvement in VPR across the NHS.
