General Practice Fellowship

The General Practice Fellowship is an NHS England funded 2-year programme of support for newly qualified GPs, GPNs and ACPs beginning careers in General Practice.

The General Practice Fellowship scheme is open to any newly qualified GP, GPN or ACP who:

• qualified within the last 12 months (rolling)
• is employed in a Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Practice in a substantive post

Application and funding is via the employing practice (there is no funding direct to fellows).

Transition Fellowship (Preceptorship)

We are also offering a 1-year Transition into Practice Programme for Registered Nurses moving into General Practice from other parts of the NHS.

Trailblazer Deprivation Fellowship Scheme (EoE)

The Primary Care School at NHS England is delighted to launch this fellowship opportunity for First5 GPs in the East of England. Following 3 successful cohorts of the Deprivation Fellowship, we are pleased to announce a fourth cohort which is expected to commence in April 2024.

International Trainee Support Fellowship

The East of England Primary Care School is very pleased to launch a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified GPs to contribute to supporting international trainees throughout their training.

This is a new post-CCT International Trainee Support Fellowship open to GPs in the first five years of qualifying, working in East of England.

Applications are open with interviews to take place on Monday 11th and 18th March 2024
