CPTH is committed to offering and signposting programmes and resources to support PCN development in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Since 2023, we have successfully delivered 12-month PCN development programmes designed with protected funded time. PCNs have been supported with the expansion of learner placements and to strengthen workforce development and sustainability through improved recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

Building on the strong foundation of PCN Training Teams and PCN Workforce and Education Leads, we are excited to launch our latest 12-month PCN development programme: PCN Change Agents.
This programme follows the same proven structure, with one session per month of protected funded time (8 sessions within practice and 4 sessions to attend Training Hub PCN networking & education collaboration events). While continuing to focus on developing and future proofing your workforce, this year’s programme has been specifically designed to support PCNs through a period of significant transformation.
The key goals are to:
Funding amount: £3,900 per PCN
Time commitment: 1 Session a month (total 12 Sessions).

About previous programmes:
This programme ran from October 2024 to October 2025. Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub offered 12 months of protected time funded (1 session a month) for PCN Education & Workforce Development Leads. This consisted of 8 sessions within practice and 4 sessions to attend Training Hub PCN networking & education collaboration events. Each PCN lead worked closely with the Training Hub to dedicate time to developing and future-proofing their workforce and learning environments.
