Speaker Biographies:
Rebecca Ward is a six session salaried GP in Ely. She has two children aged 5 and 2 and had her first parental leave as a registrar and second parental leave as a salaried GP. She made use of the Shared Parental Leave scheme with her husband on both occasions that allowed the family to have more time together throughout the year.
Tanya Leger is a first 5 salaried GP working in the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. She is about to return to work after my last stretch of maternity leave. Tanya is a French national, a Kings College London graduate, and did 75% of her GP training in Reading before transferring to Cambridge in ST3. She completed her training with a ST4 fellowship in leadership and quality improvement. Tanya is currently in her 2nd year of the post CCT training hub fellowship with the aim to further my development as a medical educator.
