This Health Coaching training is being offered to equip anyone in front-line primary care roles in the East of England with the confidence and competence to transform their conversations with patients and to help patients better self-manage long term health conditions. Participants develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to change behaviours, increase motivation and build the resilience and confidence to make and sustain positive change
The course offers a blended approach to training involving:
1 day of highly engaging online eLearning (done in your own time) plus
1 day of live virtual training to bring the health coaching skills and behaviours ‘to life’
The live training will give you the opportunity to practise your skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Please book on one live day of training from the dates available below. Once you have done this, we will send you the instructions for getting started on the eLearning.
This training is available to clinicians in the East of England who are in front-line primary care roles (e.g. GPs, practice nurses, First Contact physiotherapists, MSK specialists, community nurses) and who directly support patients to better self-manage long term health conditions
Please note that, if you sign up for the Health Coaching Skills training, you are expected to complete the online eLearning before attending the live virtual training day. If you need to change or cancel your booking, this can be done by emailing us.
Please be aware that the Health Coaching Academy will share your contact details with the East of England Personalised Care team who will use this information to contact you in future about how the training has been useful in practice, and to update you on important developments in personalised care in the region. Your details will also be added to the personalised care newsletter mailing list; you can opt out of receiving this newsletter at any time.
