About the Event
In October last year, we ran a webinar outlining an ambition for a national pilot project to explore how to upskill primary care pharmacists to conduct structured medication reviews in patients with a learning disability: Learning Disabilities Project: Structured Medicine Reviews
This is being driven by the STOMP/STAMP agenda and we are now in a position to share plans to take the project forward with interested parties.
The overall aim of the programme is to create a community of practice to support non-specialist pharmacists working in primary care to carry out Structured Medication Reviews (SMR) for adults with a learning disability who may or may not be autistic.
Participation will give you access to peer support and a range of resources and webinars.
Why it’s important
If you attended the original event, or are a new participant, you will hear more about the plans for the pilot and learn how you can be involved. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the project in the chat facility.
