Event Overview

Health Inclusion Series – Part 3

Healthcare for Migrants – Humanising Medicine

An overview of the humanities in medicine and how this approach can aid the delivery of care to those patients who are most hard to reach. This talk will aim to allow learners to explore their own understanding of working with complex patients and potential barriers to delivering care. It will cover concepts such as trimorbidity, shame, complex narratives and maintaining the patient central to this. There will be time for questions and hopefully it will be an interactive session.
