Aims & Learning Outcomes:
- Ability to recognise substance misuse
- Awareness of current trends in relation to substance use and misuse
- Increased confidence in dealing with substance related issues you may come across
- Awareness of local specialist agencies working and when and how to refer to them
Target Audience:
This is a course for those professionals (voluntary and statutory) who work with children and young people and their parents/carers regularly who require a basic understanding of drugs and alcohol their misuse and their effects in terms of Safeguarding.
This training will be facilitated by members of CGL Peterborough, CGL Cambridgeshire and/or Cambridgeshire Child and Adolescent Substance Misuse Service (CASUS)
