A new cycle of system-wide Leadership Support Circles (including new topics)
Safe spaces to de-compress, be heard and connect with others having similar experiences
This is an NHS wellbeing programme designed to support line managers at times of extreme pressure. There is a wealth of evidence about the value of safe space to share experience in a structured way, at a time when pressures are at their highest.
Circle sessions provide facilitated supportive space for all those who have responsibility for managing a team, at whatever level, and whether medical, clinical or non-clinical. Participants can share current experiences and gain personal insights about self-care and supporting teams as we continue to navigate challenging working conditions and adjust to new ways of working.
They are themed, facilitated, interactive webinars (75 minutes), scheduled weekly from December 2021 through to the end of February 2022. Participants can join any one or all of the themed sessions and will also be signposted to further resources. Please note that sessions take place via Microsoft Teams and you will just need to use Chrome or Microsoft Edge to access them.
This new cycle includes additional topics particularly relevant at this stage of the pandemic, and the programme has also been extended to offer participation from some of our partner organisations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough – providing the additional benefit of sharing experiences and gaining insights with those leading services in other NHS Trusts.
