Our first session of the Inclusive Health & Wellbeing community of practice, in June will focus on our working carers in the NHS. A carer is someone who provides unpaid care and support to a family member or friend due to their disability, health condition, frailty, mental health problem, addiction or other health and care need. There are currently an estimated 250,000 carers working in the NHS, many of whom are aged between 45-64 and so are likely to be among our most experienced and skilled staff.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we will be joined by

Jennifer Kenward, Experience of Care Lead – community, primary and integrated care, NHSEI, Paul Casson, Programme Manager for Unpaid Carers and Shaheen Kauser, Race Equality Project Manager for Unpaid Carers, West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and Dr Raka Maitra,CAMHS Higher Trainee Lead, Women in Medicine Carers Network.

Joining details will only be sent to those who have registered for the webinar and will be sent approx. 24 hours before it starts. Once you have registered, we recommend you add the event to your calendar in the meantime.
