Course overview
This course aims to give those practitioners whose roles and responsibilities mean that they are required to work in a more targeted way to meet the mental health needs of the children and young people an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in relation to this important component of their work. The course content includes wide ranging subject matter including specific sessions on aspects of mental health from clinical practitioners.
This course is evidence – based, consistently reviewed and robustly evaluated. Research clearly shows the link between emotional wellbeing and attainment for example.
