Cambs LMC represents, supports, and advises local practices. We can now offer our guidance more widely to practice staff and GPs across the country looking to refresh or upskill essential knowledge to ensure their businesses are better placed to tackle the challenges of general practice today.

We offer subject-matter experts with current working in-depth knowledge of general practice business. Each Business Bitesize session will be delivered online, live, with the opportunity to raise questions and contribute to the interactive session.

Performance and appraisal in General Practice offers essential advice and tools to improve performance management across the practice team. With a focus on competency, capability and appraisal, the session provides an update on good practice as well as helpful tools to take back to the surgery. Led by Liz Willet of KR Consulting, there will be worked examples of feedback models, moving from informal to formal performance management; capability dismissals; preparing for appraisals and the appraisal cycle; setting development objectives; good practice documents to support CQC inspections.
