Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub has teamed up with Clinical Pharmacist Solutions to offer a package to those joining General Practice.

This is a comprehensive training programme that helps Pharmacists accelerate their learning within a GP surgery sector up to level 2 of the CPA Pathway.

Clinical Pharmacist Solutions is an award-winning Recruitment, Training and Clinical Services provider that specialises in utilising clinical pharmacist skills in GP surgeries. They have the experience, expertise and tools to benchmark pharmacists, support them with their training needs and upskill them as required.

Programme Structure

Part I:

LEVEL-1 Training: SystmOne and EMIS-Web
This part of the programme is designed to enable the clinicians to use the GP softwares efficiently

Part II:

Monitoring Requirement in Primary Care
This part of the training goes through the monitoring requirements of common conditions and regular medications required in Primary Care.

Part III:

Clinical Decision Making of Medication Re-authorisation
Teaches how to deal with dilemmas using evidence based practice.

Part IV:

OSCE style assessment
This is a live online session that allows the clinician to apply everything they have learnt into practice and get feedback. The employer will also receive a copy of the feedback report.

  • Live online OSCE style assessment (1-2hrs)
