Better Health Data – Improving our understanding of health in communities through better engagement and the mindset of co-production.

The way we collect and use data impacts on how we understand our communities – if it’s not counted, it doesn’t count. The better data we have, the better we can identify what is working well and what could be improved.
This workshop will examine how using open, qualitative engagement and learning from co-production techniques can help us to understand the outcomes that are important to the people and communities that we work with. Join us to think through:
How to use qualitative engagement to improve quantitative data collection;
Demonstrating the impact of engagement – access, activation and other ‘intangibles’;
How only measuring health outcomes can prevent us from achieving health outcomes.
