The BSACI are pleased to bring you this full day of training aimed at General Practitioners, Primary Care Allied Health Professionals and Trainees.
This one-day course is designed to equip primary care professionals with up-to-date, practical knowledge to confidently assess and manage allergic conditions in both adults and children. Through expert-led talks and hands-on workshops, participants will learn when and how to test for allergies, manage anaphylaxis, distinguish food allergies from intolerances, and understand the role of immunotherapy. Sessions will also cover eczema in children, drug allergy and penicillin delabelling, urticaria, angioedema, and adrenaline auto-injector prescribing. The day features interactive workshops on nasal spray use, auto-injector technique, allergen avoidance, and dietetic advice, and concludes with a case-based panel discussion to consolidate learning.
