Cambs LMC represents, supports, and advises local practices. We can now offer our guidance more widely to practice staff and GPs across the country looking to refresh or upskill essential knowledge to ensure their businesses are better placed to tackle the challenges of general practice today.

We offer subject-matter experts with current working in-depth knowledge of general practice business. Each Business Bitesize session will be delivered online, live, with the opportunity to raise questions and contribute to the interactive session.

In this Business Governance – what does a good practice look like? session, Cambs LMC Medical Director Dr James Booth will be looking at the non-clinical aspects of practice governance, which will include overviews of corporate governance: such as business planning, risk registers, quality assurance, and external scrutiny; financial governance, such as contracts, pay, PCSE and tax/pension responsibilities; and information governance, such as data collection and recording, information sharing, GDPR, Caldicott guidance and ICO principles.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough constituents receive a 20% discount, please email bitesize@cambslmc.org for the session discount code prior to booking.
