Community of Practice Topic: Workforce in Neighbourhood Health
Our February Community of Practice will focus on workforce. We will share updates and solutions to some of the current ‘knotty’ issues from colleagues at the national workforce team as well as local practitioners at place-level.
Background to the Community of Practice
Neighbourhood health brings together all partners across health, local government, the voluntary and community sector with communities themselves to develop new ways of working, new ways of thinking and new ways of delivering care where people live.
This Community of Practice will be central to accelerating the spread and scale of neighbourhood health across the country – systematically sharing knowledge and learning to collectively progress together. It is designed to:
- Share what works, what doesn’t and techniques for implementation so successful practice can spread quickly across Places.
- Create a space for collective problem-solving on the challenges we face and share and shape solutions.
- Build the momentum and relationships needed for neighbourhood health to thrive.
- Surface rapid feedback to help inform national programmes and policy.
