This webinar will cover two topics:
- Update from Prof Chris Moran on next steps of recovery Chris Moran, a T&O surgeon from Nottingham, is Deputy National Strategic Incident Director for COVID-19 at NHS England. He will be sharing with us his insights into the challenges and opportunities ahead for orthopaedic elective surgery.
- Helping patients on the Orthopaedic waiting list: Patient group webinars. This part of the session will be led by Dr Ursula Montgomery, a GP and Senior Clinical Advisor, Primary Care, NHS England & Improvement. It will discuss an approach of patient webinars, run in partnership between primary and secondary care, to support groups of patients while they are on the waiting list. We know many services are considering how to incorporate ‘waiting well’ into their pathways, so come along and find out more.
Following the presentations, the session will be open to Q&A with members of the audience.
