‘Leadership happens one conversation at a time’ (Susan Scott).

If this is the case, how do we get better at having the conversations that matter most?

This workshop will explore in a practical way some of the skills, behaviours, mindset and approaches that can help us to feel more confident in tackling those conversations that we find challenging.  We will offer you practical tools and an opportunity for you to experiment with and explore a real scenario in a safe environment.  Our intention is for you to leave with enhanced confidence in your ability to have even more effective conversations, respectfully and with real understanding.

You will be asked to do some preparation before the workshop to think of a real conversation that you would like to explore.

The workshop will be run by a team from Practive. Practive has an 18-year track record of providing experiential leadership development to the NHS. The Practive ethos is to support leadership development by creating a psychologically safe space for participants to link their experiences to raised awareness, theory and practice, allowing them to challenge and be challenged, take risks, and “try out” new leadership behaviours. Their aim is to run workshops that are engaging and enjoyable and also invite participants to maximise their learning by fully participating in the experience

We have designed and delivered a wide range of interventions with Primary Care providers, Mental Health providers, Commissioners, Trusts and Integrated Care Systems and with the Leadership Academy since its inception. Alongside this, we have delivered many hundreds of hours of leadership development with individuals, teams and Boards. For more information, please visit www.practive.net.
