At CUH we are planning an extensive strategy to improve the way we run Outpatients’ services and we would love to hear your views on the best way forward.
Outpatient attendances at CUH have increased significantly over the last decade – with a 25% increase in annual appointments. Waiting lists have been growing, even more so since Covid, and patients are often waiting too long for care. However, the model for outpatients hasn’t fundamentally changed in the last fifty years.
We want to make the process more personal, integrated with primary and community care, efficient and patient-centred, improving the experience of both clinicians and patients. To do this, we need to hear the voices of a variety of stakeholders, and prominently Primary Care.
We would like to invite you to a Webinar about the outpatient’s strategy at CUH and how we can better work with Primary care to improve outcomes and advance innovative ways of working. We will share further information in advance of the day to help inform the discussion.
