About this event

Hosted by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership and facilitated by the Staff Support Hub.

The sensitive topic of Domestic Abuse is being covered in this series of webinars, aimed to inform and support those suffering from, or managing staff who may be suffering from this.

It can be hard to know what to do when a loved one is being abused but this webinar will help you understand how you can help them in a safe way.

One in four women and one in six men will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime so it’s likely that someone you know will have been there, or is experiencing abuse now. But how can you support them without making things worse? We will explain what domestic abuse is, how to spot the signs, and how to get support for someone you care about.

This session is open to all those working in health, social care, the voluntary sector or not-for-profit sector in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. These webinars will be kept completely confidential and will not be recorded.

Support will be made available for anyone affected by the issues being discussed. Please call our helpline 0808 801 0377, Monday-Friday, 11am – 7pm.
