Doppler Assessment Skills Training
This training is open to Registered Nurses who have completed the Leg Ulcer Management Course (full course or 2 day short course).
It is suitable for those new to Doppler Assessment and those who require an update.
The training includes:
- Theory of Doppler Assessment
- Calculation and Interpretation of the ABPI Score
- The significance of findings and treatment decisions
- Practical (please bring a Hand held Doppler to the session)
If you are new to Doppler Assessment, you will need to identify a mentor to supervise your practice after the training.
