Doppler Assessment Skills Training

This training is open to Registered Nurses who have completed the Leg Ulcer Management Course (full course or 2 day short course).

It is suitable for those new to Doppler Assessment and those who require an update.

The training includes:

  • Theory of Doppler Assessment
  • Calculation and Interpretation of the ABPI Score
  • The significance of findings and treatment decisions
  • Practical (please bring a Hand held Doppler to the session)​

If you are new to Doppler Assessment, you will need to identify a mentor to supervise your practice after the training.
