Objectives

By the end of the workshop participants will:

  • Be familiar with common form of unconscious bias and how this can impact on how we interact with others, in particularly with people different than ourselves
  • Recognize the different roles and responsibilities we have in creating on inclusive culture
  • Have practiced a simple approach to inclusive communication that can help reduce misunderstandings, and aid clearer and more engaged interactions
  • Know how to support colleagues who are experiencing exclusion, microaggressions or discrimination
