According to the GMC and CQC Nigel’s Surgery information, every GP practice should have a chaperone policy in place for the benefit of both patients and staff. Members of staff who undertake a formal chaperone role must be trained in order to develop the necessary competencies required.
This online course is appropriate for all clinical and non-clinical staff wishing to perform the role of a formal chaperone in a health care setting.
