How the NHS can work with partners to engage better with local communities
The people and communities we engage with don’t only interact with health services – they connect and communicate with a range of other statutory and voluntary sector organisations, many of whom share interests and aims. Connecting our engagement efforts makes our work more efficient and our understanding deeper. How can PCNs and other NHS organisations work together with partners in other sectors in a way that is balanced, reciprocal and sustainable?
This workshop is a space to think through different ways in which organisations can work together to better understand and involve the communities they work with, while valuing people’s participation and building sustainable relationships. We will explore:
A simple model for stakeholder mapping to support you to understand all the local and national partners who can support or inform a given piece of work.
Models for partnership working that make engagement outcomes greater than the sum of their inputs.
