This event will be focusing on offering support and guidance to parents, carers and guardians, whose children may be questioning their gender or sexual orientation and give ideas and suggestions on how to have those conversations. As this is a specially designed session for HEE it will also cover supporting neurodiverse children too.
Dr Willo is a Darzi Fellow and a child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist. They have worked for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for 14 years in CAMHS and they are now the trust’s LGBTQ+ inclusion training lead.
