Jo and Grace are both GPs and co-chairs of Greener Practice North East (www.greenerpractice.co.uk) and will be talking about Environmental Sustainability in Primary Care.
The climate emergency is also a health emergency. Unabated it will disrupt care, and affect patients and the public at every stage of our lives. This talk will look at the links between healthcare delivery, climate change and human health. By understanding the carbon hotspots in primary care we will explore ways to make your practice greener, whilst also saving time, money, improving patient care, tackling health inequalities and boosting staff wellbeing. Useful resources will be shared after to all attendees.
