Event Overview
One Day Essentials are full-day online clinical conferences, available free-of-charge to all RCGP members, offering a minimum of 126 hours of CPD per year. All conferences are broadcast live and all session recordings and presentation slides are available to access from RCGP eLearning for up to nine months after the conference (we endeavour to upload content as quickly as possible after the conference, but it typically takes one to two weeks).
Please only register for one ticket type ticket upon booking. You are able to register for the live event which will also give you access to the REWIND page once this is available. If you are not able to attend live and would just like access to the recordings, please select the REWIND ticket at registration.
Haematology is an intensive and rapidly changing field. The holistic nature of treating patients with blood and bone marrow disorders requires care across all ages and diverse backgrounds. With a range of presentations and conditions for patients such as diseases of the blood, both malignant and non-malignant, this comprehensive one-day conference includes knowledgeable speakers providing expert tips for improving your approach to haematology within general practice. By registering you will have the opportunity to gain a further understanding of some of the most common blood disorders presenting in General Practice, as well as appropriate referral pathways, advice on interpreting test results, and diagnosing haematological conditions in both adults and children.
All presentations included a focus on common symptoms/signs, diagnostic tests, when to refer, red flags, and how to monitor.
