Continuing on from the great feedback from previous sessions the Primary Care OH & HR Service Project are offering an overview of managing Long Term and Short Term Absence, which will include the use of Occupational Health Referrals and other tools such as Return to Work Interviews.

As previously, the session will be led by the Project Manager and HR Business Partner for the service and will include time with your peers to discuss any live (anonymised) issues plus hints and tips to ensure that employees are engaged in the process and your workforce feel supported.  As always this is balanced with what you, as line managers, need to manage the situation efficiently and effectively with the best possible outcomes for your organisation.

We have also arranged for a training session for those who are new to making referrals on the Optima OH Portal, details below:

Optima Health provides an occupational health service across GP Practices and Community Pharmacies in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. To support managers making Occupational Health referrals via myOHportal, we have arranged two additional training sessions for managers who:

are new to the Portal, or

already use the portal and want support or have questions around elements of the portal
