As you will know, the optimal management of hypertension remains a national clinical priority for the NHS. It is where the largest undiagnosed prevalence gap remains and where the greatest reductions in premature mortality can be made.
This webinar, which is most suitable for regional leads, CVD leads, clinical network leads, primary care, practice managers and PCN managers, will update and highlight the post-pandemic status of hypertension detection and management in England, along with the importance of addressing this locally and targeting the greatest need.
Attendees will receive helpful tools and resources to support best practice along with tips to implementing the CVD DES Specification – the 2021 focus is to improve hypertension case finding and diagnosis, as well as ensuring the optimal management of those with known hypertension.
