Please note this training is only for people who either live or work within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
For the health and wellbeing of the instructors and all attendees, if possible, please can you take a lateral flow test either the night before or on the morning of the course. We ask that unless you are exempt from wearing masks, masks are worn when moving around the building or in the training room, however when you are sat down masks do not need to be worn unless you wish to do so. We will maintain social distancing where possible throughout this training. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend.
Alcohol Interventions Brief Advice Training, this training will outline:
- Identify alcohol concerns and those drinking above lower risk levels.
- Recommended national drinking guidelines and gender differences.
- Calculating a unit of alcohol
- Give simple brief advice and make referrals to appropriate services and other support services available.
- Identification of safe limits and safe guidance on a reduction program for clinical staff
