What module will cover:

Healthy You are a free service for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough residents who are looking to make changes to their lifestyle. They can support people who would like to stop smoking/ alcohol reduction, those who want to lead a healthier life, those who want to lose weight or those who would like to take advantage of the NHS Health Checks they offer. Jennifer will be coming in to provide an overview of all different services Healthy You offer and how you can refer to them to support your patients.

Module: An Introduction to Think Communities

What module will cover:

Think Communities is the Council’s approach for what happens next.
Working alongside partner organisations such as parish councils, town councils, health, education and police services, local businesses, they help our communities to do the things that are important to the people who live there. This session will give you an insight on Think Communities, how they work and how you can work with the team in your local area.

Hunts Forum of Voluntary Organisations is an independent, non-profit making registered charity based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Kathryn and Oli will be coming in to speak to you about all that the Forum can offer you and an overview of:

  • What is a CVS/Infrastructure Organisation
  • What does it offer the Voluntary and Community Sector
  • What organisations are in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Support Cambridgeshire
  • Set Up Support
  • Funding
  • And Oli will cover what groups you can tap into

How Are You (H.A.Y.) Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is a family of digital spaces that bring together everything in the local community that boosts mental wellbeing. Connecting with others, getting active, learning a new skill, being creative, seeking professional support, exploring the outdoors, volunteering – all of these things (and more) can improve mental wellbeing. Jack will be coming in to provide you with an overview H.A.Y, how you can work with your local teams and how to use the H.A.Y website.

Module: Overview of Care Network, Scenarios and How to Write Compelling Case Studies
