The first stage of the mobilisation involving data gathering has been completed. To support practice managers and teams, there is a Primary Care Webinar (hover over the name to join the link)  on Monday 16 May at 1.30pm. It will cover:

  • more about the digital platform and how it can help your practice with your social prescribing needs
  • what to expect in the coming few weeks with the upcoming implementation.
  • a chance to ask any questions will be available.

Please encourage as many people as possible within your practice to join, although recordings will be available.

There is also a specific Social Prescriber Webinar on Wednesday 18 May at 12:00 to 12:30pm to introduce the JOY platform. It will focus on:

  • the digital platform and how it can help make your day more efficient
  • what to expect in the coming few weeks with the training
  • a chance to ask any questions will be available.

Following these webinars a second stage will onboard all practices and test the software. This will involve:

  • integrating Joy and the clinical systems together for each practice
  • once connected, Joy will perform some internal testing to make sure everything works as it should
  • we will begin with two practices and then move across of the rest of the practices
  • this will be performed by the members of the IT subgroup.

The third stage is training, this will run through June, between Wednesday 8 June until Monday 27 June.
