On Wednesday the 16th of May NHS England will host a webinar to highlight the innovative work from 7 exemplar sites who have been working to improve the uptake and quality of annual health checks (AHC) for people with a learning disability.

The pilot sites focused on innovative and collaborative ways to improve awareness and engagement with the AHC process utilising new ways of working across systems. Many of the sites particularly focused on harder to engage communities such as minority ethnic areas, sectors of deprivation and children and young people.

The webinar will showcase the learnings from each of the 7 pilot sites and aims to share experiences across the whole of the primary care workforce. The work will be available to share on the Futures NHS Collaboration platform.

Questions will be captured in the event chat and answered by presenters via a frequently asked question document after the event.

This event is for anyone who works across Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Primary Care Network (PCN) footprints and delivers Annual Health Checks for people with a learning disability.
