  • Confidentiality and risk
  • Referral pathways

Dr Jones is the GP lead for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG for Paeds., CAMHS and the community of services, working primarily on the CAMHS side since 2016 .

Dr Jones was involved in setting up the Keep Your Head website and have ongoing work trying to simplify the interface between Primary Care and support services and ensuring that Children’s Mental Health gets attention. It has been a time of transition and because of the increase in CYP presenting, Dr Jones is  supporting the development of services outside secondary care such as the new Emotional Health and Well Being services in schools, CHUMS and supporting older organisations such as Centre 33 to deal with those who do not have as serious presentations. Dr Jones is trying to develop a single front door for all emotional health and well being issues so that a child need only be referred once.
