Speaker profile:
Nicola Sharp started Nursing in 1982, and quickly developed a special interest in Infection Prevention and Control (IPaC). Since then, she has spent her professional career working in acute, community and Mental Health Trusts, leading IPaC teams, supporting clinical and non-clinical leads with national and local programmes e.g., antimicrobial, water quality, patient safety, staff flu vaccination, cleaning, training, improvement programmes and supporting external assessments and their relevant action plans.
Nicola is passionate about sharing her experience and expertise within IPaC. She is a member of the Infection Prevention Society and has held regional and National roles. Nicola returned from early retirement to work as a part-time practice nurse at Fenland Medical Practice, supporting the practice with her IPaC knowledge and experience.
