We invite you to a webinar on Tuesday 18th October 2022 to discuss the development of the medical GP liaison service and its interface with primary care.
As physicians in the front line of secondary care we are very aware of the significant pressures that colleagues in primary care face on a daily basis. The medical GPL service was established to help reduce the burden on GPs and an overcrowded urgent and emergency pathway. More importantly to provide quality care for our patients within the Cambridgeshire system.
We will show data we have collected over the last two years, giving examples of cases that routinely would have been admitted but had great care outside the ED footprint. We will share our thoughts on further developments of the service and seek your expert feedback and comment to help us plan the way forward.
We are all going into what’s likely to be the busiest winter ever for the NHS. Working together in partnership and learning from each other has to be our approach.
