We are working with the LGBT Foundation and are pleased to offer you another LGBTQ+ education module. This session is designed to help you increase your knowledge of the LGBTQ+ ND (neurodivergent) community. In this course, you will learn about the following:
- Key terms that the LGBTQ+ ND (neurodivergent) community may use
- Identity terms and labels, how they’re used
- Inclusive and direct language, and what to do when you get things wrong
- Exploring intersectionality
- The unique experiences of multiply marginalised LGBTQ+ ND people
- Addressing assumptions and misconceptions that impact these communities
- Reflecting on best practice
