Workplace Wellbeing

The Pan London AiT/First5s Committee would like to invite all London First5 and AiT GPs to attend our FREE talk on Workplace Wellbeing.

It has been an incredibly difficult year and your wellbeing has never been more of a priority. We understand that the RCA has caused a lot of distress for trainees and working in General Practice during the pandemic has been incredibly challenging and stressful for everyone with increased physical, mental, internal and external pressures.

We want to use this event to hear from you about how you are coping with the challenges and Dr Lai & Dr Joshi from The Workwell Doctors will also be speaking about various strategies you can utilise to make sure your work is manageable and enjoyable.

The Workwell Doctors are GPs with a wealth of experience in supporting NHS staff, who united through a recognition of the importance of supporting the wellbeing of healthcare staff. They understand that nurturing physical and emotional wellbeing of healthcare staff will lead to a more effective and resilient workforce. They have been running workplace wellbeing workshops throughout the pandemic and have created resources for the RCGP and Practitioner Health websites.

You can follow them on Instagram: @theworkwelldoctors and visit their website for more resources.

We will end the session with a Q&A and brainstorming session to discuss how the committee can support you over the next year.

This will be your opportunity to shape the upcoming events.

The event will be hosted by our Pan London AiT/First5s Chair, Dr Alexander Lai and Vice-Chair, Dr Natalie Rout.
