To facilitate protected learning time, this live webinar and Q&A session, will be accompanied by a discussion guide for practices to use on the day to support local action planning, and a set of links to online resources to provide further information and tools.

Overview

Dr Susie Hunt, supported by Dr Paula Newton, will facilitate this webinar with a focus on enabling wellbeing support for individuals and teams.

As we are all too well-aware, the NHS is under unprecedented pressure and GP teams are at the frontline with escalating demand and a shrinking workforce.

  • How can we reduce the impact of this on our own wellbeing and that of our colleagues?
  • How can we support one another in our practice teams and provide an environment where wellbeing is a priority?
  • How can we identify the risk of burnout and where can we reach out to in order to get help?
  • How do we acknowledge and address conflict within our teams, thus obtaining a better understanding of individuals’ points of view to enable us to work together effectively?

This session will aim to address some of these important issues, sharing practical tips and strategies that can help both individuals and teams.  There will also be discussion material provided for practices to use with their teams to develop this work further for themselves.
