Pride 365: From Awareness to Commitment is a two hour webinar that is open to all, regardless of sexuality, NHS employment, banding, etc.
This is an inclusive space and we welcome all people. The theme of the event is a mixture of celebrating all LGBTQ+ identities, but also shedding life on the reality of being a member of the LGBTQ+ community and what it is like navigating difficult environments 365 days of the year.
This webinar will be educational and we intend to provide information and additional resources to learn more about the difficulties that people with protected characteristics face, the importance of intersectionality and how to be a proactive ally to the community. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to chat amongst other participants.
The webinar is a great way for organisations to learn more information to embed into their respective Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Plan, as well as contributing towards High Impact Action 6 of the NHS Improvement Plan that looks at creating an environment that eliminates bullying and harassment at work, by spreading awareness and normalising allyship.
