This 2-3 hour advanced workshop outlines the roles and responsibilities of GP Practices to ensure they are meeting their obligations under the Care Act in line with the CQC regulations and KLoE’s and the Safeguarding Adults Intercollegiate Document for Health Professionals.
The workshop is tailored to meet the needs of the Practice and certification can be used as part of a CPD portfolio. It will identify the need for a Safeguarding Adults Champion who should be encouraged to gain further, more in-depth knowledge to support the needs of the safeguarding adults process within the Practice.
