#StartWithPeople is a bi-annual conference aimed at anyone working in health and care with a passion to improve engagement with people and communities.
It is the premier event for people involving in public engagement in the health sector within the UK; bringing together world-renowned experts in this space and senior NHS leaders with practitioners who are delivering this agenda in the heart of their communities. More than 1,200 participants signed up to the last event held in April and we expect the numbers to be even larger this time.
Our theme for the November 2022 is trust: How do we ensure people and communities feel that they can trust the NHS? This question goes to the heart of why public engagement is so important; if people feel they can’t trust their health service then much of the other improvement work we do will count for nothing.
Join us on Thursday 24 November for our #StartWithPeople event, for everyone interested in working with people and communities in the NHS and beyond, to think about building trust in a person-centred way. The day will include mainstage sessions and smaller interactive breakout sessions, giving people an opportunity to explore various topics relevant to working alongside people and communities.
