Activities marking the day will kick off with a virtual #LinkWorkerDay2021Awards ceremony on 7th October to recognise all those who have made outstanding contributions. A virtual conference will take place on #LinkWorkerDay2021 8th October.
The aim of the virtual conference is to celebrate and showcase the role of Social Prescribing Link Workers and to increase professionalism. The conference will provide an opportunity to discover new updates, share best practices, network with colleagues and industry leaders. This important conference will be attended by Social Prescribing Link Workers (SPLWs), Social Prescribing programmes, Community, Health and Social Care industry leaders and influencers, Primary Care Networks, GPs, Clinical Directors, Workforce leads, Integrated Care Systems, Managers from across sectors in the United Kingdom as well as international delegates.
