CPTH is committed to offering and signposting to a range of coaching and mentoring services for primary care general practice staff in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

What is Coaching & Mentoring?

Coaching and mentoring is a key professional development tool to support adult learning. It is used in leadership development and to assist the primary care workforce to grow and develop.

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires individuals to maximise their personal and professional potential. It helps to boost morale, increase motivation, engage enthusiasm, reduce levels of stress, improve self-confidence and performance and encourage a more proactive approach to addressing issues and making decisions.

CPTH are delighted to offer mentoring opportunities to the Administration and Clerical teams within General Practice.

If you are in any of the following roles, the Training Hub will provide you with access to an experienced mentor for up to 3 mentoring sessions:

  • Receptionist
  • Data Clerk
  • Administrator
  • Practice Manager
  • PCN Manager

This mentoring is funded by the Training Hub.

 

Mentors

Heather Harman is a freelance practice manager and has developed her career working in a number of different roles in Primary Care and the wider NHS. these include reception, pharmacy, operations, HR and management. Heather is pleased to be able to offer support to administration and management colleagues.

Rowena Pilsworth is an experience senior manager who has spent the last 9 years working in general practice as a practice manager and managing partner.  She is passionate about supporting others in order for them to reach their full potential and develop resilience to deal with the every day challenges of working in general practice and often the conflicting priorities of home and work life.  With a wealth of administration and management experience in both the private and public sector, Rowena is able to use her knowledge and skills to help others overcome the road blocks to moving forward in both work and home life.  WhatsApp, face-to-face, video and walking sessions available.
