Mentoring for Personalised Care Roles

CPTH is committed to offering and signposting to a range of coaching and mentoring services for primary care general practice staff in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

What is Coaching & Mentoring?

Coaching and mentoring is a key professional development tool to support adult reflective learning. It is used in leadership development, and to support senior managers and clinicians throughout the NHS and to assist the primary care workforce to grow and develop.

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires individuals to maximise their personal and professional potential. It helps to boost morale, increase motivation, engage enthusiasm, reduce levels of stress, improve self-confidence and performance and encourage a more proactive approach to addressing issues and making decisions.

Mentoring for Personalised Care Roles

CPTH are delighted to be expanding our mentoring opportunities to the Personalised Care roles within General Practice.

If you have started a role within General Practice within the last 12 months and are in any of the following roles, the Training Hub will provide you with access to an experienced mentor for up to 3 mentoring sessions:

  • Social Prescribing Link Worker
  • Health and Wellbeing Coach
  • Care Coordinator

This mentoring is funded by the Training Hub.

She is a qualified ILM 5 Coach and Mentor, and can offer support to all Personalised care roles including Social Prescribers, Care Coordinators and Health and Wellbeing coaches.  Jo has 15 years experience in the healthcare industry, and is part of the Senior Leadership Team Lead Social Prescriber for her PCN.  She is responsible for fully inducting staff on her team and supports staff with the getting the right level of training within their roles.

Jo trained with Grow Develop Solutions and obtained her ILM 5 in 2023. She is both coaching and mentoring staff and patients in her day-to-day role.
