This GP education session is being delivered as part of the CPTH GP Education Programme. It is open to GPs and ACPs working in Primary Care in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

For this session, Dr Rob Howlett will be joining us for a talk on Interpreting ECGs and IHD in general practice, including:

  • What do GPs need to do now about reading ECGs?
  • How to interpret ECGS in a way specific to primary care practitioners
  • Quiz of ECG cases relevant to GPs

Speaker profile:

Rob Howlett is a GP, GPSI cardiology, BSE accredited on echocardiography. He has been an NHS GP for more than 30 years. In addition, Rob achieved postgraduate qualifications in cardiology and accreditation from the British Society of Echocardiography. He has spent 16 years working in community and hospital-based cardiology and has done over 5,000 echocardiograms.
