The series is designed to support professionals in the health and social care sector to better understand:
- OPG’s role and responsibilities
- Attorneys, deputies and decision-making under the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005
- Managing concerns about attorneys and deputies.
The webinars will take place from 12.30 to 13:30 on 5 March, 15 April and 20 May. This is about understanding how to work with people who are acting on behalf of someone when they have Lasting Power of Attorney and/or have been identified for someone who does not have mental capacity to make decisions.
