Workshop Objectives

This workshop will:

  • Identify a range of influencing styles and consider their effectiveness for different scenarios
  • Provide a range of techniques to consider/practice to create personal impact at work
  • Encourage an inclusive approach by respecting difference and diversity of views and experiences when influencing

Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  1. Recognise preferred influencing style, and practice flexing different styles for maximum impact
  2. Develop skills in using voice and body language for impact when communicating to a range of different colleagues
  3. Practice techniques to be confident, assertive and impactful
  4. Recognise the value of respecting and taking into account different experiences and perspectives when seeking to influence others
